Phil Burgess, editor of National Dragster, keeps catching our attention with his online Dragster Insider column that recently has been featuring a lot of vintage photos of the drag racing era we all love. This time, reader Cliff Morgan sent in some fan photos that he shot personally in his years around Southern California drag strips after he got out of the Air Force in 1968. There’s some great and rare stuff here!
In the small photo above you can see the unusual and rarely seen chain-driven sidewinder dragster from Ed Lenarth, who is better known for the Holly Toledo Jeep Funny Car seen below.
