By now, nearly every gearhead on Earth has heard about the mess at the Russo and Steele auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Friday. A wind and rain storm hit, lifting one huge tent totally off the ground and onto the nearby loop 101 highway. By the time action was being taken, a second tent went down. There were roughly 600 collector cars inside those tents, and according to a story at AZcentral.com, a Hagerty Insurance rep estimates that half of them were damaged. It could be $1.5 million in wreckage.
