If you are looking for the wildest induction setup we have ever seen, look no further because it is for sale on Craigslist in the Tulsa, Oklahoma. Thanks to a tip from BangShift reader Jack Wayne we found the CL ad and are sharing it with out. This is an old supercharger setup called an MC-220 that was manufactured by MagnaCharger ages ago. This is an interesting pieces because this isn’t a manifold with two blowers bolted to it, the case is one piece. There are two Holley 650 carbs bolted to the mounting pads and believe it or not, this thing works and the the engine runs. There’s video to prove it!
We’re pretty sure that there is no way to service or replace any of the parts that make up this wild supercharger, so that is a concern. We’re wondering how this dude got a hold of it in the first place and why he’s not willing to include the third-gen Camaro with the sale, just the engine which he wants $7500 beans for. We’re do now know if the two gutted big catchers come along with the engine and it is important to watch the video because the “throttle linkage” appears to be a string the guy is pulling from the driver’s seat that is routed outside the car. Yeah, it is worth a watch.
This really is a wild looking setup and if you are building a 1980s period Pro Street car, this would be the hot ticket to draw a crowd. Actually, this would be a show stopping look on whatever you bolted it to! We’re wondering how well it works. Anyone ever used or tuned one of these things?

Believe it or not, these things are still serviceable as Bill ( from the old Magnacharger ) still does them.
I have one my own, its a MC110 ( MC220 are two 110’s bolted together) and mine is fully rebuild just a few years ago by UKblowers in Great Britain and Bill was supplying all the parts and knowledge.
While Bill is mostly doing bike conversions now with the smaller MC’s he still does maintenance on the large 110’s.

Yes, I remember these kits, never really sold well (at least I never saw one in person) but if I remember correctly they only one size supercharger i.e. 110, if you needed more cfm this was the upgrade kit. I seem to remember one these kits was for a 4.3 also…but I am old now. may not have been. $7500 for the engine, car is add for free. 🙂

What he needs to do is take that engine and cram it into the 5th gen camaro sitting next to the 3rd gen, bet it would look pretty damn cool in that new sheet metal.
