Oh boy did we stumble onto some vintage Pro Stock awesomeness on eBay this time! How about a set of factory Chrysler Pro Stock Hemi heads! The crazy part is that they’re not all that stratospherically expensive either. With the vintage Pro Stock movement gaining steam by the day, some racer looking to build a period motor needs to score these heads!
There are few details given about the specs on the heads like the valve sizes or specifics on port volume and such, but they have been race ported by Bob Mullen. This was porting done long before the dawn of CNC head work. Grind and flow, grind and flow. Rinse, lather, repeat.
It was Dick Landy Industries who did the primary R&D work on the dual-plug Hemi heads. One guy who often gets overlooked in that process is Dick Landy’s brother Mike who was a technical guru in those days and worked very hard on lots of the projects and engines that DLI put forth.
These heads are awesome and for a “Buy it Now” price of $2500, we’re thinking they are a killer deal!
