Last week, while complimenting Greg Rourke and Bob Chiluk’s work here on BangShift.com, Brian referred to them as the Cagney and Lacey of BangShift photography. Of course we laughed our asses off…and then the fun started. After I referred to them as Cagney and Lacey in the teaser for our Street Machine Nationals coverage, Greg Rourke sent me a text message asking if they could at least be Starsky and Hutch. My response was “Sure!”, cause how can you argue with Starsky and Hutch? The very next day, Charles “Wickman!, Wickmire, Wickenstein” Wickman, who clearly has way to many nicknames anyway, hits Brian and I up with a text message asking if he can be Columbo. Brian and I both say yes, and then Brian says “Joe Grippo has to be Matlock!”, and it goes on and on.
Clearly Brian is Rosco P. Coltrane, and I’m more Sonny Crockett or Jack Bauer. Just sayin.
So… If you were a TV Cop, who would you be? What cop would your friends say you were?
