Mendy Fry is one of the most sought after nostalgia nitro pilots in the world today. She’s in the Nostalgia Top Fuel 250mph club, has run down into the 5.80s in a nostalgia nitro flopper, and has honed her skills on a wide array of cars. Her story is really awesome because of how her career came along. Racing with her dad, Mendy learned to wrench and drive with the best of them. This video is proof of that.
Before her days running Top Alcohol Dragster, Fry drove the world’s quickest street legal hot rod, a 1927 T-Roadster that was powered by a blown and injected big block Chevy motor capable of running down into the 8.80s. This video is about that car. It appears that the show is from Australia and they do a nice job profiling the young racer and how she is far more than a pretty face.
