So if there is one thing I have learned since gluing the video clips that BestRide.com’s Craig Fitzgerald and I talking about junk at Gates Auto Salvage in Vermont it is that neither of us are all that intelligent and both of us are ugly enough to be living under a bridge. That being said, we do know a little bit of stuff and we’re both hoping that you dig this look at some more stuff that we found interesting at the yard. Remember, this place is selling all of their classic iron for $500 a piece and some of the stuff (we think) is worth at least that.
In this video we cross the pond and look at a weird foreign car that Craig immediately knew and I had never seen before, I berate people who do lame things with bad street rods, and we even find a cool makeshift pickup truck tat was constructed by someone obviously very desperate and long before the advent of Meth so that cannot be blamed as an instigator for this.
Craig and I break each other’s chops on the internet because it is fun but we really are chummy and it was a fun day spent at this place checking stuff out. If you have not followed our photo coverage of Gates Auto Salvage, see it here.
Finally, nice(?) cars…just bring a chainsaw.
Holley carbs???…..I don’t think so
1951-2 Hawk….come on…
If that Studebaker had a good hood, I’ve have been there tomorrow.
