It’s natural to feel stressed as you approach the date of your marriage. There is plenty to think about before you get dressed, do the photos, greet the guests, deal with the family traditions, and let’s not forget the actual deal itself. After the vows are read, the rings are exchanged, and everybody has cheered, that should be a time of celebration: food, music, wedding cake, drinking and dancing. Sadly, one new groom from Nashville, Tennessee didn’t see it that way. 27-year-old Michael Smith was spotted driving on the freeway in a Chevrolet Equinox erratically, and when officers tried to pull him over, he swerved at the officer’s car then made a run for it. Police pursued the Chevy for over twenty miles as Smith tried about every trick you could learn on Grand Theft Auto to shake the cops, but ultimately he pulled into a hotel parking lot and surrendered.
According to Mount Juliet Police Department Lieutenant Tyler Chandler, “”He made statements to the officers that he had ‘just got married and was trying to process everything’ and ‘just had a life crisis and a lot on his mind.'” Smith has been charged with evading arrest, reckless endangerment and reckless driving, and we’re pretty sure that he isn’t wanting bond anytime soon. Chances are good that the new Mrs. Smith is probably waiting outside of the jail with a cast-iron skillet with his name on it…

Could he have realized at the first dance…” Shit…I can’t even get my arms around this cow”. 🙂
Ha! John, that reads like something Chevie Hatin’ Mad Geordie would have written. He must not be up yet
