Decry burnouts and stunts that turn tires to vapor as wasteful all you want to…some days, it’s the only sort of thing that will scratch the itch every gearhead I know gets every once in a while. While we’d rather go fry the tires off ourselves, the next best thing is seeing some quality racing machines having a ball in the hands of a qualified professional. While some of our Australian readers might have something to say about what constitutes a professional doing donuts, you can’t argue that seeing a pissed-off, all-wheel-drive rally car roasting all four tires off isn’t cool. Saying it isn’t won’t do you any good anyways, because that sounds like a good time I’d love to try out for myself. From the hyperactive late-models like Ford Fiesta WRCs to classics like the Lancia Delta S4, there isn’t a car we wouldn’t hop into and hoon the hell out of…we’d be fired up and headed out to the track before anyone could ask, “Who was that?!”
