What’s The One Modification You Always Wanted To Do To A Car But Never Did?

What’s The One Modification You Always Wanted To Do To A Car But Never Did?

Everyone has walked through the pits at the races or through a car show and seen some bad ass hot rod and said “Man, I always wanted to do that to a car and never did.” What “that” is depends on the person, but we’ve all thought or said that same thing. For some it would be adding a blower and dual carbs sticking through the hood. Or it could be tubbing a car for big meats. Hell, it could be adding EFI or any number of performance enhancing parts. Or it could be something that has nothing to do with going faster but everything to do with looking cooler. Ever dream of having a pair of Centerline Convo Pros on your car but never got them? How about putting a Lenco in something? Yeah, the list could go on and on.

For me personally, I would love to have a blown big block with dual carbs in something. And I’d like to own a car with a Lenco in it. I’ve driven Lenco equipped cars, but never owned one. And I do want a Pro Street car. Maybe with all that stuff on it. Oh and I want something with Crower Injection like the one from Lucas Injection seen above. Those stacks just look way to awesome not to have them on something. Killer paint. I’ve never had a car with killer paint. I think that having something with awesome graphics could be cool, even if I would be afraid of messing it up all the time.

So what is yours? What’s the thing you have always wanted to do to a hot rod but never actually pulled off?

We like this CNC Motorsports 555. We’ll take one for a project please!

no perf parts for buick 350’s. I made my own single plane years ago, blower manifold for a 471, now doing one for a 671. have a kinsler fi unit that will be cut up and modified to fit the 350. and still looking for a 455 buick d/q intake to modify to fit the 350. pretty much easy things to do. just lacking in time and money.

Funny you should ask, saw an all aluminum SBC with Hilborn Injection (efi hidden) in a ’55 gasser last week, thought I need that for my MGB.
