Alex Taylor’s Quest For The Sixes 1955 Chevrolet Project Details Keep Coming: Welding The Chassis

Alex Taylor’s Quest For The Sixes 1955 Chevrolet Project Details Keep Coming: Welding The Chassis

Alex Taylor and her dad Dennis have been thrashing like mad on the 1955 Chevy project, and this video is sort of out of order. Why? Well in reality they were thrashing to try to get this thing ready for Rocky Mountain Race Week and so some updates were made during the thrash that then skipped a bunch of the build. In the spirit of full disclosure, the car is running and driving currently. It has NOT been down the dragstrip in the 6’s, but it has been on the road and has been out in public a bit during part of Rocky Mountain Race Week. The car is epic cool. I can tell you this first hand, as I was on-site at the Taylor’s thrashing to get this thing done for RMRW. The car is super cool, and full of neat custom touches, and lots of typical Taylor fabrication.

There is no doubt in my mind that this car will be hauling ass very, very soon, and that the rest of the world will be as excited about it as everyone was on Rocky Mountain Race Week. This car sits right, sounds right, looks bitchin, and is about as classic as can be. I mean who doesn’t like a big tire 1955 Chevrolet?

Check out the video for an update from Alex, and lots of great build footage.
