(Words and photos by Darr Hawthorne) – The yearly gathering of Mopars at Woodley Park is a longtime tradition for gearheads and Mopar geeks from all over the northern hemisphere. The 2014 Mopar Spring Fling attracted over five hundred Dodges, Plymouths and various adopted Mopar related brands at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, CA. Thousands of spectators walked the ample swap meet and Manufacturer’s Midway searching for parts and pieces and the latest resto tips and the best part of the deal is that the show is free, thanks to the hard work of club members and friends of Southern California’s Chrysler Performance West. With a week off from the busy IHRA Nitro Jam Series, it’s always great to see the legendary Hawaiian Roland Leong, who tunes Tim Boychuk’s Firebird nitro funny car. Roland talked with fans and signed t-shirts and some of his Hawaiian diecast.

None in that list I would stick my nose up at.
I’d take them all except the rampage. But then again I could always drop a 340 into it. Hell even a LS would be better than the four banger they came with.
Convertible Imperial… Sweet. And I missed it…
Only 514 made! All power motors, laser eye, and every creature comfort of a modern car, no more made like that imperial
