2016 Cincinnati Cavalcade of Customs: Our Show Coverage Continues With More Coolness

2016 Cincinnati Cavalcade of Customs: Our Show Coverage Continues With More Coolness

(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – This gallery starts off still in Survivors Alley then shifts over to the full-blown show rigs with elaborate displays.  We got to see Gene Winfield working magic with his crew in the Summit Racing chop shop.  The Chevy coupe under the knife got a sectioned hood and a pretty healthy chop.  One of the craziest creations we’ve ever seen was a reversed, mid-engine sort of truck-ish thing with two chain drives sending power back to the differential.  How nuts is that…?

More points of interest in here-

Sweet paint on the roof of the neat, purple sled

Great open-wheel cars

Green ’56 Nomad ‘Wanderer’ which I believe won the top pick

Sweet VW truck offering Surplus, Salvage, Recycling, and Marriage Counseling

Enjoy
