(Photos by David Whealon) – We’re going to keep on keeping on with our photos from the collection of David Whealon, BangShift contributor extrodinare. David didn’t just send us a couple of photos to use, he send us a pile of them so we are spreading them out day by day for you to enjoy. As we told you yesterday, David shoots a wide array of motorsports coverage ranging from the mud bogs and pulls all the way up to the top shelf go NHRA drag racing competition with a liberal dose of pro mod and sportsman action in the middle.
One of the things that we love about David’s photos, especially the pulling ones is the violence that they capture. The pulling photos are so vivid you can almost hear the engines screaming right off the screen in front of you. Wheels up, dirt flying, butterflies open, and raging, those are fun to stare at.
