ACES Hot Rod Resurrection Photos: The 18th Annual Show Was As Cool As Ever.

(Photos by Wes Allison) The ACES is a car club that was founded in 1952 and is open to pre-1965 Hot Rods, Customs, etc, that are built in the style of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s. They are a staple in SoCal, and that’s because after fading away in the 1960’s the son of one of the original members brought it back in the 1990’s. Because of this, the ACES car club continues to be one of the well-known car club names you’ll find at events of all kinds in SoCal.

Every year for the past 18 years they have held the Hot Rod Resurrection show and this year we had Wes Allison head over to take pictures of all the cool rides on hand. You’ll see traditional hot rods, customs, and more. I wish I had been there myself, cause this is one fun event.

We’ve got two galleries worth of photos to share, so keep an eye out for the next one this week.
