(Michael Brooks) – Some of the diehard guys we know that travel to the Detroit Autorama year after year have told us that the 2016 version of the show was the best one they have seen in years, maybe ever. Their reasoning? The quality, volume, and creativity displayed in the cars was so good. From the best pro touring stuff you have ever seen, to the best race cars you have ever seen, to the coolest customs you have ever seen, the 2016 Detroit Autorama had ’em in spades.
Mike Brooks took off from his native New York and screamed out to Detroit for the weekend to hang out at the show. It was a last minute deal and he handled the coverage like a boss, sending us a stack load of photos to share with you. We’re going to be doing that for days so keep your eyes open and look at all the neat stuff that Mike was able to capture with his lens. This rules!
Kudos to Jason Graham Hot Rods for the Mercury in the lead in photo.
What’s the deal with the Batmobile? Can you do a feature on the car?
It sure was a great Autorama I’ve only missed 3 in 36 years Thanks for posting the pics!!
