(Photos by Charles Wickam) – Well, we’re back with our final batch of photos from the 2016 Dallas Autorama. Charles Wickam was our man on the scene at the event and he reported that the show was well attended by both people and cars of all shapes and sizes. As you well know, the Autorama shows are full of all kinds of interactive events and fun things. This Dallas show also had a concert put on by the guys in Count’s 77 which is the band lead by Danny Koker of television’s Counting Cars. Charles said that the guys were super cool and that they could really wail on stage. These guys are the real deal and hey, they even posed with the BangShift jacket. How rad is that?!
There are some sweet cars in this collection of photos but we have to admit to being partial to the Bluesmobile. That massive Dodge Monaco sure put up with a lot to propel Jake and Elwood on their “mission from God” and along what way it caused the demise of more police cars an other big 1970s barges than any other single automobile in history. The one at the show seems to be perfect in every worn out bluesy way.
