(Photos by Joe Grippo) – As we mentioned yesterday, some rain came in and scared off lots of the participants in the annual automotive and mechanical catch-all known as the Fleming’s Pumpkin Run held each year in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. We say catch-all in the positive sense, not in the negative because in many ways, this show is exactly what being a BangShifter is all about. You may not LOVE all the stuff that is there from hit and miss engines to tractors, vintage race cars, muscle cars, trucks, and machines of all types but you can appreciate ’em for what they are and appreciate the love the owner has got for whatever contraption they are displaying, right? We gotta get to this thing next year.
Anyway, even after the wussies left the show what remained was still all-star material. Trucks, racers, and other stuff that you’ll have to see for yourselves. As always, a sincere thanks to Joe Grippo for hitting up this show and braving liquid falling from the sky. This phenomenon has been known to frighten lesser man, but Grippo would not be deterred.
