The next collection in our series of “50 Photos” galleries will celebrate those great machines that rolled out of the factory in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The American Motors Company still has many loyal flag bearers, decades after the last new cars were produced. There’s good reason for that as the company made many great models over the years. From the Rambler Scrambler to the groundbreaking AMX, there’s lots of great history to celebrate.

In this gallery, we hit lots of different bases. Yeah, there are more than a couple examples from the AMX fleet, but we’ve also got some road racing, drag racing, and just plain awesome cruisers in here as well. Given the choice of a street machine from the AMC cannon, we want a 4-speed Rebel Machine and if we’re hitting the vintage pro stock ranks, we want a recreation of Wally Booth’s Gremlin X!
