(Photos by Jacob Marshall) – We promised to be back with more from the 2017 Indianapolis World of Wheels today and here we are. Intrepid reported Jacob Marshall braved the cold and the crowds to capture all the stuff he found BangShifty and cool inside the confines of the event. In today’s photos that means hot rods, race cars, and stuff so old it likely coughs dust out of it when the engine is turned over. No shame in that game, though!
We think you will dig these photos from America’s racing capitol. We enjoy visiting the Indy area twice a year here at BangShift. The US Nationals and the PRI show are both staple events for us and while the PRI show left the Indy area for a while it has been back for years and is firmly established as a foundational gathering of the biggest and best racing has to offer. Yeah it is cold in Indy in December but it keeps everyone inside talking business.
The World of Wheels is not for about chatting business but rather enjoying people’s stuff and getting away from the cold realities of day to day life in the midwest at this time of the year. By looking at Jacob’s photos, we think that the show did exactly that for all who attended!
