Yes, that is a Ford Econoline cab with a custom chassis and FOUR blown modular Ford engines behind it. Why? Because freaking SEMA, that’s why. Here’s our first glimpse inside the 2015 SEMA show. These photos were shot yesterday during load-in day which is one of the craziest parts of the whole event. If you could see the bedlam that goes into readying the convention center for the show you’d freak. Hell, when you see these cars and trucks you’ll freak. These are some really beautiful, wild, and unique creations.
We’re not taking anything away from all the awesome that is packed into the front lot of the convention center, but the real beating heart of the 2015 SEMA show lies within the comfy confines of the one million square foot chain of buildings that house things like “Hot Rod Alley”. This is where you will see some of the most innovative, weird, and head scratching steel of your life.
Remember, we’re going to be running you over with mini-features, new products, and galleries like this all week. Stay tuned!
That blue ’55 made my pants tight.
It was the Tri-five Nationals give away car. It could have been mine! They didn’t announce that it was going to SEMA until after they gave it away.
