(Photos by Robin Flanagan) We’ve already told you that the Goodguys shows are some of our favorites in the country, and that the hometown shows in Pleasanton California hold a special place in our hearts since we’ve been going to them for decades. But what is really cool about Goodguys shows is that all of them have their own personality, their own image, their own car culture. Sure, there are 1969 Camaros at ever Goodguys show. And you are sure to find a gaggle of 1932 Fords, but there are also really cool cars, really cool characters, and really cool styles that are a bit more specific to location.
Visit this weekend’s Goodguys East Coast Nationals and you are likely to see a lot of different cars than you’ll find in the following gallery from Pleasanton’s Summer Get-Together. Go to the amazing Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines and you’ll see a Goodguys show like none other, in fact, Des Moines is another one of our favorites, mostly because the place reminds us of a giant Pleasanton.
