You want to know what traffic really can look like in Bowling Green? Friday was the day to find out: you had the Holley Hot Rod Reunion at Beech Bend, Hot Rod Magazine’s Power Tour rolling into the Warren County Regional Airport, ChumpCar racers setting up for their time at NCM Motorsports Park, and if I heard right, there was a golf competition in town as well. Scottsville Road, the main drag between Interstate 65 and the fun stuff, was loaded all day with traffic levels normally reserved for a good sized metroplex, not a small city like Bowling Green. But you couldn’t complain too much when you saw the kinds of machines rolling around! And while many Tour drivers went home on Saturday, there were a strong number of folks who brought their road-weary rides into the Hot Rod Reunion to enjoy an unofficial last day of fun. Finishing up a long road trip with racing and the Cacklefest sounds like a solid plan to us!
