(Photos by Charles Wickam) – Thanksgiving traditions come in a myriad of forms. From the foods we eat, the people we hang out with, and the things we do. For hot rodder in the Houston, Texas area Thanksgiving weekend means one thing, the autorama. Thankfully we have Charles Wickam, a literally inside man at Houston Autorama 2015 and he blasted us this first set of photos from the set up day at the show and there sure looks like some cool stuff being polished and readied for its closeup, right?
This show is at the bleeding edge of indoor car show season around the country each and every year. The Autorama tour snakes its way across the country and hits virtually every major metro area in the process but Houston is the lead off act and they do it right down there. While most of us were sleeping off a turkey hangover, Wickam was waltzing with hot rodding legends and wearing out his trigger finger.
We’ll be bringing you Charles’s handiwork all this coming week. Consider this an appetizer before the main course. Like you haven’t eaten enough already!
