We started off our coverage of Holley LSFest 2017 earlier today and promised you multiple galleries per day. Here is gallery number 2 and we’ll have some more coming in a few hours as well. This gallery is a mix of car show, autocross, drag strip, pits, and more. As always, LSFest promises tons of action and excitement with huge crowds of LS powered machines and lots of spectators. We’ll have coverage of all the racing action including autocross, drags, drifting, road course, the car show and more.
Remember, this event is all about celebrating GM’s LS engine, NOT a specific make or model of vehicle. So anything with an LS engine in it is allowed to show up at this event. That means you get to see all kinds of weird stuff that you wouldn’t expect to find an LS, or V8 for that matter, in. But you also find plenty of cars and trucks that were previously V8 powered, but not LS. Like the Ford pickups, Mustangs, Crown Vics, and Rolls Royces. And then there is the Suzuki Sidekick, Miatas, and more.

The LS Pest!
Take the Rolls Royce – anyone with a shred of originality would work on the V8 the car came with. A V8 that Rolls Royce actually copied from a Chrysler motor but used aluminium instead of iron in its construction. So using Chrysler parts it could be bored and stroked to 426 cu and fitted with twin four barrels or EFI or blown or turbocharged to give power outputs similar to an LS. But that would mean using one’s brain – which is something LS addicts have not yet learnt to do!
