After leaving the Lone Star Throwdown, I was absolutely sure that way more people customize GM trucks than they do Dodge or Fords, with the exception being the lifted big tire world. Not that there aren’t a lot of lifted GM trucks too, but when a Super Duty or Ram already comes with a solid axle from the factory, lifting it to the moon is a pretty easy affair. With that said, there were other trucks at the Lone Star Throwdown from the Blue Oval and Mopar camps, besides those lifted to the moon, and this gallery here shows you some of our favorite Non-GM rides from the show. If you are an F Series fan, or dig a Dodge, then this is the gallery for you guys for sure.
There are some seriously cool rides in this gallery, from Unibody Fords to square body Dodges, and everything in between. If you are a dent side or bump side Ford F series guy, you’ll dig some in this gallery, including the amazing red F150 that won the Best of Show award. I looked it over and I can tell you it was spectacular for sure. There is also an International Travel All in this gallery that is super rad and I was in love with it!
It seems everyone either jacks them so high they’re useless or slams them so low they’re undriveable. What ever happened to leaving them with some driveability.
I agree
I rescued a 66 C-10 from the barn–six and three on the tree all my friends are begging me to make it look like every other one in the country slammed on the dirt! No way! A decade from now an all original unit will be so rare–No way I will let a Calif trend push me in the wrong direction or…wherever that idea came from You can all look alike if you want
