We are on the ground once again in Pontiac, Michigan for the 2017 Woodward Dream Cruise weekend! Why weekend? Simple…for a week leading up to the actual Dream Cruise on Saturday, there have been events going on up and down Woodward Avenue, between the Loop in Pontiac and…well, we’ve been as far as 8 Mile and have seen cars going even further! My wife Haley and I have only started shooting photos of the cruisers on Friday morning, and we both went for our first trip up and down the lanes just before lunchtime. The cars are out in force, from street beaters to exotics and everything in between. I’m not joking in the least: Woodward ranks up there with a Top Fuel race, Bonneville, and finding your car’s aerodynamic top speed in bucket list terms.
We will be shooting more photos tomorrow from the Modern Street Hemi Shootout series’ parking lot in Pontiac, plus going live on BangShift’s Facebook page from the front seats of the Angry Grandpa Chrysler as we cruise up and down Woodward tomorrow. If you’re out and about, you can’t miss the gold brick, but if you can’t make it, hopefully the galleries and live footage can help make up for that!
