Here’s the latest footage we have seen featuring the crazy Boogeyman wreck at the No Prep Mayhem race last weekend. Kyle and the team from 1320Video captured this angle and it is stunning any way you but it. You will see GoPro footage from both cars which not only gives you Hildebrand’s perspective but also that of Carl Scott who was driving his Honey Badger Nova. One fact that we did not know about how close this was to being a two car nightmare is exposed when Scott shows the marks from Boogeyman’s wheelie bar actually striking his front bumper as the car came across the track.
If you watch the Scott angle of the crash closely you can see the wheelie bar flop around after smacking his car. It is nuts and it is also revealed that the reason Scott was not neck and neck with Hildebrand is that he had pedaled his car and the thing had shut off. Had he been on the throttle there would have been two cars careening out of control and possibly launching over the guardrail.
When you see the crash looking across from Scott’s lane you can also see that Hildebrand was extremely lucky in the fact that the car did not get into the scoreboard. Has this happened a little deeper down track the machine would have cartwheeled into the board on the right side of the track.
