(Photos by Mike Brooks) – We’re back with more awesome the form of photos from the 2018 I-X Piston Power Auto-Rama. These were all taken by Mike Brooks and we kind of hate him a little more each year because he always goes to this show and tells us how awesome it it, shows us the photos, and then we always end up stuck doing something half as cool, somewhere else. Dang it! This year they had a freaking WWII bomber IN THE SHOW. Muscle cars, race cars, trucks, tractors, boats, the aforementioned WWII FREAKING BOMBER, and loads of other automotive and gearhead related stuff that we love.

Maybe they had another aircraft in the show. But the pictured aircraft is a Boeing KC-97 Stratofreighter. Developed from the B-29 and the B-50 Superfortresses, the C-97 and variants did not enter service until 1947 (long after WW II).
