Super stock has served as the launching pad for many drag racing careers and many drag racing classes. It could be argued that super stock was where funny car started (if only loosely). In today’s world the category is a highly specialized and precise category that requires amazing acumen and high performance to win in.
Joe Grippo crushed these photos. Maple Grove Raceway is the perfect track to host this event and has been for years. In the fall the air is perfect, those N/A engines are screaming, and the noises of big and small block super stocks echo off the trees. Enjoy these great photos!
