(Photos by James Champion) – If there is one weird thing about the NHRA season that I wish I could wave a wand and change overnight it is the way the thing kind of comes out of the station. We got to Pomona and we’re ramped up. We have a break. We go to Phoenix and we’re ramped up. We have a break. We got to Gainesville and we’re all ramped up…you get the idea. After this weekend’s race in Last Vegas order returns to the universe and we’ll be rocking and rolling with few breathers in the middle through the end of the year. That’s the way we like it.
