(Photos by David Whealon) – As it always does, the PDRA drag racing season came to a close at Virginia Motorsports Park. As it always does, the group that supports the PDRA showed up in droves to compete for the last time of the season. Mother Nature showed up as well and the event that was supposed yo run from Thursday to Saturday didn’t get over until the following week because of weather related delays. When you are crowning champions, you got for however long you need to get it done, no matte what.
This gallery is a cross-section of PDRA classes and competition. From their gnarly motorcycles to the top sportsman and top dragster categories that are the most gnarly in the oral, to the Pro Boost and Pro Nitrous cars that run mid-three second elapsed times the PDRA really has something for everyone out there to enjoy.
