After a successful career at General Motors and serving on the SEMA Board, Meyer is the new president of PRI, the Performance Racing Industry association. PRI operates a massive trade show for racing and is also working hard to become a forceful ally of racing in all of its forms across America. We talk about Dr. Meyer’s philosophy, approach, and what the world of racing needs most right now.

Dr Meyer’s work is going to be very important and is very important at this moment at PRI has mobilized many resources to help tracks across the country get back open and back into the business of racing. We can see the success of their efforts in the drag strips, circle tracks, and road courses that are starting to reopen. Some with limited spectators, schedules, and staff, but they are clawing their way back and PRI is helping with that all along the way.

We are in a time period where leadership and support are needed in ways they have not been for many, many years. The good news is that we believe in Dr. Meyer as a leader and he believes the PRI needs to actively, aggressively, and totally support motorsports now and into the future.
