Well, the forgotten project Nomad is moving right along! It’s less car than he thought it was, but that just means the progress on this thing is sort of fluid. And so is the plan for it, which is why the thing is now a gasser! Just look at it now.

DD Speed Shop has no shortage of project cars and somehow this one was completely forgotten. I don’t know how that’s possible, but man I’m glad they have such cool ones to remember, like this 1955 Nomad. Check it out and see what’s coming next right here!

Video Description:

The Nomad is in the garage and all thawed out. Last spring I had robbed a few parts off the Nomad so I had spares for my 57 during power tour. As it turns out I “borrowed” a few more parts than I remembered. The Nomad needed a replacement diff, springs, bushings, shackles and pretty much everything else.

With the rear end in the car I decided to put 2 inch lowering blocks out back and raise the front end a couple of inches for the perfect gasser look. Some slicks out back and skinnies up front gave the perfect stance. What do y’all think of my color choices?
