(Photos by Charles Wickam) – This is our last blast of photos from the lens of Charles Wickam who was camped out at the ADRL event in Houston, Texas last weekend to capture the action for BangShift. As we have told you throughout the week, there were some amazing performances in Houston, headlined by Jason Scruggs making a lap at an incredible 219MPH. The season finished off with a slew of awesome performances in Texas and we’re awaiting the release of the 2014 ADRL schedule to see if we can get there and cover one for ourselves, rather than letting Charles get to do all the cool stuff!

You’ll see the likes of Stevie Fast, Scruggs, Mick Snyder, and the whole rest of the ADRL traveling road show in this gallery. Pound for pound, we’re not sure if there is more exciting or intense action than watching the Pro Extreme class in ADRL run. These things are really mind boggling as they are now into the 3.50s in the eighth and nearly into the 220mph bracket as well. We’re interested to see how the whole scene evolves in 2014 as there will be one sanctioning body (it appears) for these types of cars. Will old rivalries renew? Will new blood show up? Will there be better fan and racer attendance at the events? Only time will tell!
