In the world of hot rodding there are times when we value quietness and there are times when noise is king. This is one of those times. You are about to watch a five minute video that celebrates all things blower, especially the whine that these belt driven air pumps cause when the operator of the car puts their foot to the floor and they can really go to work.

From compact little Whipple screw blowers to the honking old school Roots design, this video has something for everyone with regard to noise. Supercharging technology has been around for over 100 years now and if anyone from back then were to look at what’s happening now with these units they would likely pass out and then ask to hear the noise again.

This is not about being subtle, not about being quiet, and certainly not about being slow. Nope, this is an exercise in noise, horsepower, and badassery. You’ll watch this video and like us literally start thumbing catalog pages for an application from one of the various manufacturers that would work for me.
