There is nothing more annoying that taking your hot rod out during the warm summer months and having it run hot. Whether it actually overheats, or just runs hotter than you are comfortable with, either one of these scenarios makes for a really crappy experience behind the wheel. I mean who wants to stare at the water temp gauge all the time instead of enjoying their hot rod on the road? Thankfully there are lots of good cooling system products out there, at a variety of price points, that can help you make sure your hot rod, classic, or race car runs as cool as it should. Frostbite, a Holley brand, makes both application specific and universal radiators, fan shroud assemblies, water pumps and accessories, intercoolers, and wiring harnesses and relays.

I run a Frostbite Radiator in our 1966 Bel Air station wagon and have been running it for the past several years. This car has been equipped with a 525 horsepower naturally aspirated and nitrous huffing small block, as well as an F1A94 Procharged small block. The nitrous combo was making nearly 800 horsepower and the supercharged combo made more than 1200. With dual Spal electric fans and the Frostbite shroud, this thing has never been hot. And we have done a bunch of drag and drive events, have put more than 40,000 miles on it with that radiator, and drive it in all conditions.

We’ve been so happy with our Frostbite that we got another one for an S10 LS Swap project.
