Pro275, the newest class in 275 drag radial racing, is the king of the small tires. Taking everything from Radial vs The World, but on a smaller tire, this class promises to be one of the harder to control and one of the more fun to watch, if they can make it down the track. At Lights Out 11 at South Georgia Motorsports Park, the racing was hot and heavy, but not before a bunch of qualifying hits that had folks scratching their heads, high fiving, and wondering how it is they got so lucky. For many teams this class was a complete crap shoot and that meant using all the tuning experience you had to figure out how to get down a tricky race track on a really small tire. This racing is not for the faint of heart.
Thanks to Spoold Media though we have video coverage of every single round of eliminations and we’re here to share it with all of you. I think this is a pretty cool class, but it is going to be hard to follow in the short term with big time racers throwing everything but the kitchen sink at it. We’ll see how long it takes them to get so crazy that we wonder what else is possible on a tire that size. Until then, watch all the rounds of eliminations from Georgia!
