(Words by Joe Grippo, Photos by Stacey Grippo) During the winter of ‘20-‘21, Beaver Springs Dragway announced that they were adding an all Ford race to their 2021 season and we promptly circled our calendar as the place to be that weekend. While Beaver is host to arguably the premier Ford event on the planet, the infamous FE Race and Reunion, the new All Ford Race would include everything FoMoCo! So, I loaded up my Windsor powered Mustang and headed west into the hills of Central Pennsylvania.

We were blessed with excellent weather (despite a quick mid-day rain shower) and crowded pits with tons of Fords finest. Beaver owner Mike McCracken and his team known as The Zoo Crew had the track on point with traction a plenty, along with designated car show and swap meet areas. BSD is such a great track with an old timey feel but lacking for nothing and with a friendly, helpful staff plus it’s a super clean facility with beautiful surroundings, you need to go there if you have a chance.

The All Ford Race was structured like the FE Race with classes including Hot Ford (1.99 and quicker), Cool Ford (12.00 and slower) and a of course an FE Powered only class. Also on tap was a Pro Ford shoot-out featuring the quickest 8 cars on the property. Great racing! Friday was a test and tune and a gamblers race, but we rolled in Saturday for the main deal. Since I was still finetuning my fresh combo in the Mustang I handed the photo duties to my awesome wife Stacey, who absolutely killed it! Dig into the gallery for the goods…
