I’ve done dozens of drag and drive events. Dozens. And the number one thing that people find themselves fixing is usually electrical related. Some folks might argue that I’m wrong, citing overheating, fuel pumps, or vapor lock, but more than half of those issues actually come from wiring and electrical issues. Too many times on summer drag and drives I’ve seen, electric fans that aren’t working properly cause the overheating. And too many fuel pump “failures” to count have been because they have improper wiring, failed relays, etc.
Finnegan knows this to be true so he’s going to make sure that isn’t a problem for him on Drag Week 2024. That means doing some 12 volt wiring in order to make the electrical system function reliably like it should. Check out this latest episode with a bunch of cool products from Wirecare.
Video Description:
Episode 314 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage briefly takes us inside the nerve center of Blasphemi as we partner with Wirecare to rewired all of its 12-volt power distribution. We’ll cover different types of automotive relays, connections and terminals and then we go Back To the Future as we get the inside scoop of what really happened to Tony Angelo and I during Hot Rod Drag Week 2019. Finally, we have an epic teaser of the two-part, five hour long movie we just filmed about our adventure during the 2024 edition of Drag Week. You’re gonna dig it.
There’s lots of never-before-seen footage in this episode and I’m so excited about the movie Chris Read is editing right now. We’ll drop it here as soon as its ready. In the meantime, enjoy this episode and thanks for the support.
