There is nothing worse than losing a race because of a simple parts failure, and in most cases you just want to fix it and get a rematch as soon as possible. That’s exactly the case with Finnegan as he broke Blasphemi and wants a rematch against Freiburger. Unfortunately, he hurt himself and can’t race at the moment so he’s going to have to wait a bit to make it happen. But at least the car will be ready!

Lot’s of stuff going on in Episode 284 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage and this time we are fixing Blasphemi, moddying my 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, and hopping up my garage. It’s a super fun one! First up, we had a leaking head gasket on Blasphemi and rather than ripping the motor apart we did what most humans would do, we went to the auto parts store and bought a can of fix-it sauce. Oddly enough, it worked!

Next, we installed a new mid-plate behind the Nelson Racing Engines mockup big-block Chevy. Joe Cole built some trick brackets that I welded into the MRC Fab frame rails. Finally, we relocated the clutch switch on the clutch pedal to make it work better.
