God and Mother Nature love LS engines, and Holley’s LSFest in particular, because both Friday and Saturday were supposed to be plagued with rain and ended up being great days to be at the races. With some cloud cover and moderate temps, the only “negative” to the weather was the humidity and that didn’t seem to slow anyone down on Friday as the crowds were good and the car count was epic. Moving into Saturday, LSFest continued its streak of setting attendance records each and every year. And in a move that nobody could have expected with the weather forecasts just a day or two before the event, for the second year in a row LSFest set a new record for crowds at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green. No event, of any kind, has every had a larger crowd, and it was pretty hard to imagine any more fitting in this place with how crowded it was around each and every event.
