We’ve known the Lutz family for somewhere around 10 years now, and have traveled all across the country with them on Drag Week, at PDRA events, and so much more. We’ve seen multiple 1957 Chevrolet race cars, and a 1969 Camaro or two, come out of Lutz Race Cars over the years but Jeff’s son Jeffery has one of the hot rods that probably raises more eyebrows than all the rest. I remember meeting Jeffery, aka Jeff Lutz Jr., when he was just a little kid but now he is a talented tuner, driver, and builder. But when still the young pup, Jeff Lutz Jr. got everyone’s attention when he decided to build the Civic for Drag Week. Over the years the car has run 7’s in the 1/4 mile, with small block turbo power, and is an absolute riot to watch.
Here is a new video featuring the Civic making test hits in preparation for a No Prep debut. It has never been down a no prep track before, and in addition they were testing a new alcohol combination under the hood. The sucker does really cool burnouts and several hits. Watch just how hard it is to get something short and light and powerful down an un-prepped race track.
Who cares, he is a big of a hack as his father
Jealousy much ?????????????
Sorry Hondas are the little ones that I can\’t love . Can\’t stand the noise and the attitude . Congrats on all the work and tune , but i would\’nt put a penny on this .Maybe I\’m just a little mad because I get cut and tailgaited by Civics all the time :p
Did you read the article? It’s a small block Chevy in it.
Yes I did , I missed the (small block turbo power) hint . Should watch the video tho .
I can’t help but wonder where Jeff buys his PA state inspection stickers.
If it’s a 1995 or older car, most states don’t do emissions, just safety inspections.
They don’t need emissions only safety so it be pretty easy to pass.
In PA you have to have glass windows, no lexan, no window tinting that isn’t factory, exhaust has to exit the vehicle, working wipers and washers, Tires with more than 2/32 tread. Cats if originally equipped.
