Your sitting on the couch, in your favorite chair, at your desk, or maybe on the shitter, looking at parts and cars for sale online when you find something that sparks your interest. For me, they are usually lower buck buys or unfinished projects, and nothing pisses me off more than to open the ad to find out that the price they have quoted in the title or on the main listing is in fact click bait. I hate those bastards! I hate them enough to often respond to the ad in order to waste their time. Depending on their attitude, I may or may not call them out for being a jack ass. I can’t stand it when people purposefully mislead in order to get you to open the ad.
Below is one that I found just last night! The Opel below makes me want to call and offer them the full price of $1,000. And then I want to have a conversation with them that you might expect from Abbott and Costello. It sure would make a funny video.
How bad does this kind of thing piss you off?
Clearly it was a typo – but make an offer if you’re serious. The advertised price is just a starting point and nothing more than that.
What really chaps my arse is when they say super low miles and don’t list it and it ends up being over 100,000
