I felt bad for Shawn and the crew in Texas a couple weekends ago. They showed up to run at Xtreme Raceway Park during the Xtreme Texas Nationals in the Big Tire No Time shootout and were putting it back in the trailer early on Friday. This is not the way you want to start the season off, and especially when you consider that this is the New Murder Nova, which is slated to compete in the No Prep Kings series for 2021 while the OG Murder Nova sticks to the outlaw and street races. After spending lots of time in the off season working on both cars and really taking care to get everything ironed out and in great shape for the new year, I’m sure the team is feeling like 2021 is already trying to kick them in the balls.
I have to give them credit though, because Shawn seems to stay pretty calm about this kind of stuff, and I know it can’t be fun to have to deal with this level of carnage. And it’s a lot of carnage. Check out the video, the adventure and the autopsy as they get this bullet apart and then diagnose the catastrophe. I hope the entire Murder Nova team gets this thing back together soon, so we can see the New Murder Nova setting new personal best records in 2021.
WOW, murdered that SBC, They’re certainly not shy about boost. Hope that it’s fixable. The tire shake did those steel panels like they were tin foil. Big power/big problems. Impressive attitude about it all.
