Trailer Tech: Bearing Buddy VS. EZ Lube-What’s The Difference, And Are Either One Of Them Right For You And Your Trailer?

A good trailer is invaluable, and I’d argue that a huge portion of the population should own one and doesn’t even realize it. But one thing that happens to so many trailers, is that they get forgotten until you need them, and that means that maintenance isn’t usually very well done. The good thing is that most trailers really only have one or two things that need maintenance, but one of those is wheel bearings. According to Dexter axles they recommend you lube bearings once a year, or every 12,000 miles. I’m willing to bet that most trailers never see that lube at any kind of regular interval.

So if you want to make lubing axles easy, or build some safety in so forgetting isn’t as big a deal, EZ Lube and Bearing Buddies are a good accessory. But what’s the difference and which one should you use? Watch the video from our friends at The TrailerSmith and you’ll have a lot more info in order to decide. Check it out.
