Transforming ViceGrip Garbage Camaro From A 1974 into a 1970 RS – Watch The Epic Conversion Here!

It’s time for some more updates and love for the Garbage Camaro project, and in order to make it into the ultimate 2nd Gen that means a 1970 Camaro RS split bumper conversion. Kevin is killing it!

The Garbage Camaro is back with another update. Like we’ve said before, it’s fixable, but man is it going to take some work. Kevin keeps saying he loves this car even though it is a ton of work, but I’m starting to question his sanity since he also is saying that the car is trying to kill him. Well now he’s drug someone else into the build as he’s invited Kiwi to come help him out. Check out this update and let us know what you think.

Not long ago, Kevin Tetz and Derek Bieri made a deal that put one of Derek’s old 2nd Gen Camaros in the hands of Kevin, a seasoned veteran of many restorations. He has big plans for the Camaro, but first it is going to need a lot of sheet metal work. This thing is rough. Rough enough that many people would walk away from a project car like this. But not Kevin. He’s built his fair share of 2nd Gen Camaros and knows what needs doing on them. So check out this one here and let us know if you would touch it.

Video Description:

I’ve secretly ( not so secretly) wanted a 1970 split-bumper Camaro for many years! With the help of  @autometaldirect  and  @ViceGripGarage  we’re finished transforming the abandoned 74 Camaro into my dream car! Locking in the rear sheet metal is a critical step to making the car I couldn’t afford to buy, and I had some great help from my buddy  @BayOneCustoms  TC Penick! TC and I have built several cars together, and he’s an amazing fabricator… we got alot of work done very quickly, and all the new sheet metal fits great now! Now we can springboard from the solid foundation…. it’s all uphill from here!!
