Bonneville Speed Week 2017: More Engines, More Cars, More Trucks, and More Cool

Bonneville Speed Week 2017: More Engines, More Cars, More Trucks, and More Cool

(Photos by Cole and Chad Reynolds) – One of the things that sets Bonneville Speed Week aside from any other racing event on Earth is the purity of the competition and the diversity of the competitors. People from all over the world come to this race specifically to test their mettle against the best in the world and the legendary salt surface. Tech is a long and hard process, the weather is blistering hot, the town of Wendover, Nevada is…ummm…interesting. There’s no quick way here and there’s lots more heartbreak than success on the salt. And yet they come and they come in droves.

We love sharing massive amounts of photos and stories with you from Bonneville because they’re all so damned good. From the cars and trucks that people build to the people who build them, there’s no greater mechanical soul cleanse than the salt flats.
