Carolina Xtreme Pro Mod Action – The Last Race Of The Season Was Awesome!

Carolina Xtreme Pro Mod Action – The Last Race Of The Season Was Awesome!

(Words and photos by Benoit Pigeon) – That’s it, the Carolina Xtreme Pro Mods had a great 8 race first season that just ended on October 15th. The series champion was decided at the previous race at the Shady Side track of North Carolina.

Tylor Miller driving a blown 1969 Chevelle took all of it after winning 2 events, going to 4 finals and taking 6 top qualifier titles.  Only one racer made the entire tour, Don Tolley from Virginia.  All three power adder styles not only got represented but also won at least one of the 8 event.
This last race, organized at the freshly renovated track of Darlington, SC held the only scheduled 16 car field of the year with 23 entries showing up.

At this point plans for a return in 2017 are in the work and a schedule will be announced over the winter.
