If you are a BangShifter contemplating a Chrysler Gen III hemi swap into your muscle car, truck, or whatever else you drive, now may be the time to jump on buying your motor. Galeana Chrysler/Jeep operates a website called MoparProShop.com and they have either lost their damned minds or gotten some special dispensation from FCA to knock HUGE amounts of money off the sale prices of factory crate engines. For instance, they are taking $4500 BUCKS off the price of a Hellcat crate engine! There are also deals on 392 engines which are reduced by $1,400 bucks and the 5.7L engine have about a grand knocked off of them. That means a 383hp rated 5.7L engine can be shipped out of the place for $5,150. That’s not “junkyard free” LS cheap but it’s pretty damned great in our book.
The Gen III Hemi is a bad ass engine and a bad ass engine family. There’s an ever-growing market around them and they have come a long way since hitting the market more than a decade ago. The Hellcat engine is obviously a high line product and it’s the thing that gets the headlines. They, even with the $4,500 reduction are not cheap. With the money off the top, it’ll still run you about $15,000 bucks and that’s just for the motor. You need to get the rest of th stuff together yourself.
We have no skin in the game here but we know that there are lots of people thinking about and executing these swaps. If you are one of them and have been tucking away your money, now may be the time to pounce and make some progress!
Just the thing for a Pro Touring Jensen Interceptor!
That sir is the best since I wrapped bratwurst in bacon!
Brian just the Motor For your Stude Wagon
It is a big discount until you add in the Hellcat ECM and wire harness at $4500 on sale. Then another $11,000 for the Hellcat rated transmission. That is now over $30,000. It still eliminates all but the 1%er crowd.
Gotta make room for the Demon crate motor coming out….
The true power of the Demon is that “It’s ONLY a 707 HP Hellcat engine” is not a ludicrous statement.
